Mad Motorsports first running of the new Iracing Road to Pro Series, the feeder to the Pro Series, was a roller coaster for the team. The team would start back of the pack as usual, given the lack of laps on the setup run. The car ran well, and it was clear the engine and body MAD put out for the race was excellent in the draft. "I could fly by most of those guys with the right push from behind." The driver noted. The car would move up into the top 10 after taking fuel only mid-way through the race. The Dave Matthews Band sponsored car would end up racing to the lead and go on to head the pack for 20-some laps. The MM truck was in the lead with 10 laps remaining, and looking good for a win when a lapped car moved from under the yellow and into the pack. "I dove low into the grass, the pack behind me had no idea what to do and everyone slammed into him. Only one car made it through. I think it was intentional, and I hope iRacing handles it." The driver said, clearly upset.
