Team Cars Have Mixed Results in Las Vegas
The team cars took to the Cyber Thunder Bolt Cup Series on Tuesday night, running at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The team took a cautious approach to the early part of the race, hoping for a late caution to pull the field together. This would happen, however driver Tyler Beamon (#91) suffered motor damage while trying to navigate an accident on the back stretch. After repairs, the Mad Dog Sports Radio Ford Mustang would have a max speed of only 148 for a G/W/C finish. Meanwhile, driver Bradley Beamon (#92) raced to the finish, sliding through the infield grass on the final lap after contact, and finishing in 10th place for the team. He continues to work up in points standings after missing Week 1 in the series. the #91 remains within the top ten after finishing 20th, and is hanging on to a playoff standing. The series takes a week off next week, and returns at Milwaukee the following week. In the meantime, MAD Motorsports will continue stock car efforts in Cyber Thunder's development and Xfinity Series'.
