The team road program took to the ERA Endurance Series tonight, for an hour at Mid-Ohio. Both drivers had trouble pushing the car for speed, and settled to run as safely and quickly as possible to stay on course. For the entire race, the #91 and #92 BMW's ran together, keeping a tight gap even after pit strategy. Throughout the hour, neither team car went off course, and held on to P4-5 for a ten minute shootout. The final lap was filled with action for the team cars, as #91 Tyler Beamon pushed too hard into the first sharp corner, and took the #92 Bradley Beamon sideways, with the #91 taking 4th position. Then, the 3rd place car had trouble prior to the checkered flag, and both team cars were able to overtake to finish P3 and P4. A podium finish was more than could be hoped for, with the team struggling for speed at this track, and thankfully both cars survived to the finish despite the dreaded contact with teammates racing for position.
