Carnage in Team Debut at JWR ESports Truck Series at Dover
The team opened the Josh White Racing ESports Truck Series on Friday night, with $200 on the line to the race winner. The team started the night pleased with practice times, though somewhat disappointed after sliding and losing potential time during qualifying. Both trucks started several rows back in the field, in an accident filled first quarter of racing. As the field adjusted, and green flag runs occurred, both team drivers ran steady towards the top ten, with tire wear being the key. In the late part of the 200 lap race, driver Bradley Beamon #92 hit a car bouncing off of the outside wall at full speed, destroying the 92 truck and ending his night from the top ten. Driver Tyler Beamon #91 held on a little longer, enduring a spin and some contact with the wall, however within the final handful of laps, was caught in a check-up accident that destroyed the engine and ended the night for the final MAD Sim Racing Team entry. After looking like both team trucks could finish in the top 15, the team had to settle for the disappointment of 19th for Tyler Beamon and 23rd for Bradley Beamon. The team will return to the track for race two at Bristol next Friday, hoping for a better result.
